Happy Halloween

It's the last day of October 2012, and Halloween is here. All the ghosts and goblins will be out tonight trick or treating, and that even goes for adults who will be attending various Halloween parties or going trick or treating with their kids.

Today I'd thought I'd focus my post on Kelly and her friends....little sister of Barbie. A number of years ago, I set up a Fisher Price doll house for some of my LFOK dolls to have a howling Halloween party. Please excuse the fact that most of these pics have been marked for Myspace. I no longer have that account, but I thought it would still be fun to share them here.

As you can see, all of the LFOK dolls are having a wonderful time at this Halloween party.

Please have fun but stay safe this Halloween. That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I love comments, so please feel free to leave one.

Almost the Witching Hour

Today I thought I'd share a couple of pictures from the Halloween archives. I love my Top Model Summer with her copper colored hair, and I thought she'd be perfect for yet another Target Halloween fashion.

Here Summer is after gathering some small pumpkins for her Halloween display. Doesn't her cooper hair look great with the copper skirt she is wearing?

Here Summer is leaving her cottage to share her Halloween pumpkins with some friends. I used Photoshop to place Summer in this background picture, and then I added more things using Blingee. Love the flashing mask she is wearing while making her Trick or Treat rounds. I hope you like this post.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by.

Thrift Store Find

Wow....I originally wrote this post a long time ago, but I guess it never did get published. I really am stumped about this, and I only really just saw it saved as a draft. How funny? lol Anyway....here it is now.

My collection contains some My Scene dolls, which I really do love. Below is a My Scene styling head I found in a thrift store. It still had the plastic thing sewn in her hair, which I removed when I got home with my seam ripper. Even though that plastic thing was still in her hair, it was a bit of a mess. So, this girl got a bath, shampoo, and conditioning treatment. I also just ran nice hot water over her hair to make it nice and straight again. Then she received a bit of a trim, and this is the result. I love the way she turned out. I am thinking of painting the blue portion of her top a different color. That shouldn't be too hard to accomplish, and it will give her a new look. I'm also thinking of adding something to her hair, but I haven't decided what that will be yet. Any suggestions?

I appreciate you stopping by. Have fun with your dolls and anything that you might create.

Season of the Witch

I'm a bit behind in blogging this week, so I'll play a bit of catch-up with this post by sharing a couple of spooky fab doll pictures.

For a number of years, Target produced a number of Halloween Witch Barbie dolls, and I purchased a number of them just for their outfits. I thought I would share some of them with you today. First is the Anna Sui Boho Barbie modeling one of the Target Halloween witch fashions, and I thought it suited her wonderful dark hair and coloring very well.

Isn't she spooktacular in this costume? Behind her you see a beaded black cat, and next to her is a beaded pumpkin. I made both of these Halloween items myself from a bead kit. I love them.

Isn't the Tarina Tarantino Barbie gorgeous in this Target Halloween costume with her beautiful trademark pink hair? You see the same spooky tree as you did in the lst picture, but the background is some spiderweb fabric. The black cat is from a Sabrina the Teenage Witch doll set I bought years and years ago. I still have the dolls too. I'm not sure where I bought the cauldron after all this time. I think the TT Barbie makes a frightfully fantastic witch....don't you?

I'll try to share another post by Halloween, which is now just days away. Halloween is such a fun holiday where you and your dolls can dress up in fun costumes to celebrate. I love having fun with this holiday, and it just might be my favorite holiday.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. Please leave a comment.

Secret Spells

I love October. Not only does it mean Fall is in the air, but a fun holiday called Halloween is celebrated here and around the world. It's a time when we can all dress up in costumes and pretend to be someone or something other than what we really are. Halloween parties take place with fun decorations, food, and friends. Clubs that gather and celebrate the collecting of Barbie, also celebrate
Halloween at their October monthly meeting. Such a fun month
for so many reasons.

Today I thought I would share my 2 Secret Spells dolls by Mattel....Barbie and Kayla. Unfortunately, I did not get the AA
version, and I've been kicking myself ever since. I just did a search on the Internet, and I found a nrfb Secret Spells Kayla doll for sale for $102+. Wow....who knew? These dolls came out at some point after the TV show....Charmed....was on the air. One of my favorite TV shows at the time.

Of course, Barbie her beautiful long flowing blonde hair, but Kayla
is a gorgeous redhead. I have to say, that I am extremely partial to red hair. Just beautiful!

Aren't they both lovely ladies casting their SECRET SPELLS during this fun Halloween season?

I hope you enjoyed this post today. I plan to share some more Halloween themed dolls the rest of the month.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you take the time to leave a comment.
